New Peer Mentoring Program at Rutgers
The Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center has developed a new peer mentor program for university students living on the autism spectrum. See the article from The Daily Targum, the Rutgers University campus paper,here.
The College Support Program for Students with Asperger Syndrome was developed in 2002, by the West Virginia Autism Training Center at Marshall University.
The program exists to offer appropriate academic, social and independent living skill supports to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, so that they may have a successful college experience and learn skills necessary to enter a competitive workforce.
